Authentic stories of people, place, and the human experience.
Alongside my work with communities, organizations, and collaborators, I continue to develop a small number of long-form documentary projects as a writer, producer, host, and filmmaker. These projects often grow slowly over time through research, conversations, fieldwork, and a sustained curiosity about the people, places, and ideas that shape our lives.
The two projects below explore very different worlds, yet both are connected by a shared interest in human experience, place, meaning, and the stories we choose to carry forward.
BC BY WATER
Driven by a fascination with exploring nature from the water and a long-standing interest in British Columbia’s coastal history, BC By Water follows the shoreline in search of the stories, places, and people shaped by life along the Pacific.
Travelling by kayak and small craft, the series explores the connections between landscape, community, memory, and the enduring relationship between people and the coast.
MITOTE DOC
MITOTE: Mind’s Destructive Dance is a thought-provoking documentary that explores the hidden roots of anxiety, fear, and depression—conditions affecting millions worldwide.
Bringing together leading voices in psychology, psychiatry, neuroscience, transpersonal psychology, and other fields, alongside people with lived experience, the film challenges conventional perspectives and invites viewers to reconsider the workings of the human mind.
Through science, personal stories, and diverse approaches to healing, MITOTE offers a compelling journey into one of the most important questions of our time: what if the greatest obstacle to our well-being is the way our minds have learned to see the world?
Continue the Conversation
If you are interested in learning more about any of these projects, receiving occasional updates, exploring potential collaborations, or supporting their development, I would be happy to hear from you.
The most meaningful projects often continue beyond the screen — through conversations, shared experiences, and the communities that gather around them.
